SERVICE.

01Acceptance of terms

By engaging Bano Studios for any service — photography, videography, film production, or equipment rental — you accept these terms. They form a binding contract between you and Bano Studios (RC-1992462).

02Our services

We provide four service lines: Photography, Videography, Film Production, and Equipment Rental. Detailed scope for each engagement is set out in a signed Statement of Work.

03Quotes, acceptance & contracts

Quotes are valid for 30 days. An engagement is confirmed only once (a) a signed Statement of Work and (b) a 50% deposit are received. Until both are in place, we reserve the right to reallocate dates.

04Payment

• 50% deposit on booking, 50% on delivery of final master files.
• For productions over ₦5M, a milestone schedule applies (30/40/30).
• Late payment accrues 1.5% interest per month beyond 14 days.
• All prices are in Naira unless otherwise specified. VAT (7.5%) additional where applicable.

05Equipment rental

• Refundable deposit equal to 50% of replacement value held per booking.
• Valid government ID and proof of address required at pickup.
• Renter assumes responsibility for loss, theft, or damage during the rental window.
• Late returns billed at day rate; 24-hour grace period on prior notice.

06Intellectual property

Raw footage and project files remain Bano Studios property unless otherwise agreed in writing. Client receives a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use the delivered final files for the agreed purpose. Bano Studios retains the right to use work in our portfolio and reel unless confidentiality is explicitly agreed.

07Cancellation

• Cancellation more than 30 days before shoot: 50% deposit refunded.
• Cancellation 14–30 days before shoot: 25% deposit refunded.
• Cancellation within 14 days: deposit is non-refundable.
• One no-cost reschedule permitted with 7 days notice, subject to availability.

08Warranty & liability

We warrant that services are performed with reasonable skill and care. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the fees paid for the engagement giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages. We strongly recommend production insurance for high-value shoots.

09Force majeure

Neither party is liable for failure to perform due to causes beyond reasonable control — including acts of God, pandemic, government action, strikes, or infrastructure failure. We will reschedule in good faith without penalty.

10Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes are subject first to 30 days of good-faith negotiation, then binding arbitration in Abuja under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act (Cap A18).
